An arrow streaks through the dark and sparks a tile; the phrase “One arrow, one word” spells itself out in tiles; an arrow-word grid assembles in three dimensions; the camera slowly follows five words as they fill in; a wave flips the grid into a colourful mosaic, which becomes a giant arrow and fires; a “Well done!” stamp lands in a shower of confetti, and the Flécho logo settles.

Arrow words or crosswords?

Most people say « crossword » for any grid with clues. Flécho makes arrow words: the grid is full, with no black squares, and the clues live inside it. An arrow shows where the answer goes.

In a crossword, the clues sit beside the grid and point to numbers; black squares separate the words. Same pleasure, two layouts.
